Countdown to Germany...

Ever since I met my boyfriend, Sebastian, last June, we've talked about me visiting his hometown in Germany one day.

Well, after several hours of searching for one single document, I was able to get my passport and we booked a flight to Frankfurt for two weeks in May.

I've decided that I'm going to try to document the trip from beginning to end. From the pre-packing stages to the actual time spent in Germany.

We're planning on visiting several cities while there, and possibly heading across the borders to either Venice, Italy or Paris, France (I'd be excited with either choice really).

These are the cities were planing on visiting:
Frankfurt
Wuzburg
Bamberg
Numberg
Munich
Baden-Wurttemberg
and possibly:
Paris
Venice
Prague

It's going to be a whirlwind trip, but I'm sure we'll be able to fit all these cities and experiences, along with meeting various family members and friends, in to a two week trip.

Right now, I'm in the research mode, where I'm researching everything I could possibly want to see in these cities to fulfill my desires to see the castles and architecture, eat and mingle with the natives, learning the language to try to hold conversations with his family and accomplish a beer tour of 10 breweries in one city.

My list of sites I want to see is quite long right now, but I'm sure after going over it a couple more times before the trip, I'll take things off or add new things to do.

I'll keep you posted.

Speak Now.

Today, October 25, 2010, Taylor Swift's new album, SPEAK NOW, was released.

It is great. You should drop everything you're doing and go get it.

Here is the track list (* personal favorites):

Mine*
Sparks Fly
Back to December*
Speak Now*
Dear John*
Mean*
The Story of Us
Never Grow Up
Enchanted
Better Than Revenge*
Innocent
Haunted
Last Kiss
Long Live

All the songs were written by Taylor herself and she co-produced the album with her trusty producer/friend, Nathan Chapman.

In true Taylor Swift style, the songs are about ex-boyfriends, personal experiences, etc. etc. It is quite obvious who some of the songs are about (Taylor Lautner, Joe Jonas, John Mayer, Camilla Belle, Cory Monteith).

I especially enjoy the track, Better Than Revenge. It's a great song for any girl or guy who has been cheated on.

But the whole album is great.

Just listen to it. Go. Now!

One Day...

One day, when I get married, I will be wearing these fabulous Christian Louboutin Wedding Shoes.

These are amazing. Works of art. Hot. Sexy. Every adjective you can think of to describe a pair of shoes.

I need to start practicing how to walk in 6inch heels so I don't make a fool of myself walking down the aisle or when I'm being announced in as the Mrs.

Best. Burger. Ever.

So this weekend, I decided to take a break from red meat, bacon and all foods that are "not healthy" which hopefully will allow me to maintain/lose weight so I can fit into a cut-to-order bridesmaids dress that is waiting for me to wear in October.

On Sunday, the last day before my new diet was to start, I made myself one of the best burgers I have had in awhile. Better than any fast food joint or restaurant could ever provide me.

Just a plain old home grilled burger with bacon, bbq sauce and grilled onions on a lightly toasted bun.

Ah-mazing!

Enough Already...

So Armando Galarraga was robbed of a perfect game due to a unfortunate call from umpire, Jim Joyce.

Joyce apologized. Bud Selig won't over turn it cause he's a douche. And I'm pretty sure Galarraga is over it. He got a freaking brand new Corvette for Pete's sake. And he probably won't ever have to buy a beer or drink in any bar in Detroit for the rest of his life.

Detroiters are over it. Even though it won't be in the stupid record books, we all know that on June 2, 2010, the Detroit Tiger's had a perfect game.

The only people who are still bitching about it are the people who have nothing else to talk about in the sports world.

LAME.

Let's hear about something else now.

The French Open is nearing the finals and Rafael Nadal is looking to win the title again.

Everyone Should Read

the I Am the Arbiter blog.

The writer is Chris Scardamalia, a random dude who lives in LA. I've found his website through Twitter, Facebook and MySpace where he posts some of the funniest and truthful Tweets, blogs, ideas and poems.

It's good stuff. Read it.

Finally!

I can come home from a bar/club and not reek of cigarette smoke!

It's a party here in Michigan. Everyone is pumped about the new No-Smoking ban that is now in effect as of May 1, 2010.

Well, almost everyone. I suppose smokers aren't quite as excited as us non-smokers, but I don't care. It works in California, Pennsylvania, Colorado, and in Windsor so why can't it work in Detroit??

To celebrate (well, not just the smoking ban, but just to go out) my girl's and I are having a fabulous Girl's Night Out! And I look forward to being able to crash at the end of the night and not have to take a shower to wash the smoke out of my hair before I do so.
